I was going to add them originally but the custom covers were created by a user at aacovers. It’s against their rules to share others covers, which would result in a ban.
So you’ll have to get them from there or ask the original uploader if he can share them. Sorry.

Yeah. DVD’s are available for purchase from FUNi. Waiting for a Blu-ray release myself though. Until then, these are the best video and audio quality you can get on DVD.
Just uploading this here since I finished this project over a year ago and the torrents are almost dead at ADC.

Best method is to watch TokyoTosho for raw R2J DVDISO uploads. Sometimes scans are included, which you can then touch up and upload to aacovers.

Nothing has been announced but there was a trailer for the series in HD on a previous FUNimation Blu-ray release.
FUNi don’t release single Vol Blu-ray’s, so my guess is that they’ll wait until they’ve finished releasing the series on single DVD’s, and then when they release a cheaper DVD boxset in the future, chances are they’ll do a Blu-ray boxset as well. At least that’s what I’m hoping anyway.

But it wasn’t never released on Blu Ray in Japan, so would these evt. releases probably be upscales or real HD? oO

You never know. I guess it depends what sort of master FUNi were given when they licensed the show.
They released Samurai 7 on Blu-ray in native HD when it hasn’t been in Japan (although it doesn’t look that good since it was one of the first shows produced in HD), so they’ve shown they aren’t prepared to let Japan lead the way, but yeah, time will tell…
I’ve got my fingers crossed anyway. lol

I’m guessing the answer to this is probably no, but can we request a certain series be done? I absolutely LOVE that you’re doing this. Between DVD’s I’ve bought and ones I’ve created I have over 600 DVD’s. I like to make it look like the original DVD and what you’re doing allows me to add R2 DVD’s to my collection.

I don’t do requests, no. I just do stuff I like myself and would love to have in my collection.
Still, you can always make suggestions and perhaps that would lead me to checking something out I’ve never watched before, thus then working on the DVD’s.
That’s what happened with Zetsubou Sensei, and it ended up becoming one of my fav shows.

Is anyone else having a problem accessing AsianDVDClub? I’ve been trying for two days and all I get is this:
403 Forbidden
Unauthorized IP address.
Any ideas?

It means you’ve been banned.
The usual case is not meeting the ratio requirements.
If you have a dynamic IP, you could reset your router, giving you a new IP address, enabling you to create a new account.
If not, then unfortunately I don’t think you can get back in.

I didn’t even know there WERE ratio requirements. It doesn’t even allow me to go to their main page where no torrents are, so I can’t even send an e-mail because I can’t get to their contact page.
We’re on a cable modem that’s shared between 5 computers, so I have an extremely limited amount of upload bandwidth before I start clogging up the home network and slowing down everyone else’s connection. Which in turn, gets me bitched out. So I have to limit my upload to a total of 10 k/s. Plus for some reason uTorrent makes my network EXTREMELY unstable. Every 15 minutes the router disconnects from the internet and immediately reconnects (and significantly slows web browsing), so downloading files of significant size is impossible. If they want my ratio to go up, they need to allow BitComet, which doesn’t screw with my network nearly as badly and doesn’t cause multiple disconnects per hour.

Excuse me, blinx01, but could you possibly check if there’s something wrong with DVD 3. I’ve managed to burn the rest and play them perfectly on my home DVD player except the third one. My DVD player keeps on displaying a message along the lines of “cannot play this disc”. I’ve already tried burning DVD 3 three times and all three DVDs get the same message and won’t work. However, if I try playing it on a computer everything works fine, but the subtitles will not show up. I’ve started to doubt that its simply a problem on my end since the rest of the DVDs work perfectly fine except the third one.

Just checked my copy and works fine.
Perhaps some issue cropped up when downloading and it’s not complete?
That would explain the issue you are having.
You should try hash checking with the torrent to make sure it’s 100% and not missing any data.
