In terms of translation, I used the ‘WhyNot-Hadena’ script as a source.
They did a decent job, but not quite what I was after for a DVD release.
So basically I retimed the script, and then cross-referenced every line with the offical Crunchyroll translation from the TV series Benizakura episodes.
For the new material, it is mostly the ‘WhyNot-Hadena’ translation, although properly edited and TLC with my very basic knowledge of Japanese and all things Gintama.
The end result is in my biased opinion (hehe), the best translation you would get unless the movies was offically subtitled, and even then, that would only be for the new material.
I also inserted notes into the first subtitle track.
Those familiar with my Gintama releases with know all about these.
For those who do not, basically they are notes on top of the screen for people who may not get the cultural or anime/manga references/jokes.
I suggest that track for those new to the series.
For those seasoned fans, manually select track 2, and you will have the subs without the notes.

No problem.
It is slowly being worked on.
Past week has been very busy for me so only just started work on it yesterday. Hopefully be ready by Saturday latest if nothing comes up.
