Donations Needed!
Hey guys,
We managed to reach our target of £32 towards Gintama Encho – Vol 2 [DVD].
In fact, we managed to go some over that, so the additional money has been used to cover translation costs for missing scenes.
That means this volume was 100% fan funded!
Huge thanks to everyone who donated!
Now I am looking towards Gintama Encho – Vol 3 [DVD], which was released 24th April.
The cost is about GBP 32 (approx USD 49 or EUR 37).
It’s a lot of money for one DVD, I know, so it’s understandable if no one is interested.
However, if anyone can spare any amount, please use the Paypal donation button to lend a hand.
It would be greatly appreciated and help continue the Gintama DVD project I started way back in 2008.

With this, my blog has grown another year older, making it over 3 years now that I’ve had this up and running.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
I would just like to wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my blog followers.
This blog has now been going for 2 years and it has over 200,000 hits!
Quite a reward for such a small site!
Hopefully you all keep visiting in 2011!
With that in mind, I’ll be enjoying the festive fun so I won’t have any releases until after the New Year.
You should go enjoy yourselves as well!
Normal DVD uploads and Blu-ray service will continue from 3rd Jan.

Sign Translation Help [Zoku SZS - Vol 2]
Hey guys,
Back with more signs that I could do with some help translating.
Loads this time since I’ve now reached the point in the series where I’m using and editing ‘anon’ subs, and sadly they didn’t translate ANY signs, so we have the TV and DVD exclusive signs to deal with!
Here are but some of them!
Seedbox and Public Uploads now OVER
As the title says the seedbox is gone, meaning no awesome upload speed, leading to no public uploads.
All releases will now be uploaded on the torrent site http://www.asiandvdclub.org
This is a free to join, membership site with ratio restrictions.
That means if you don’t stick to their ratio rules you will be banned and unable to download any of my future releases.
Anyway, links will still be posted here so you won’t miss anything.

Seedbox closing in 2 days time!
Title says it all; the seedbox I’m using to seed these releases will be gone in 2 days time since I can’t afford to rent it anymore.
If you have missed the previous announcement, this means my future releases with be uploaded on ADC (see links), which is a private torrent site where you must maintain a ratio. I will be using my home connection to seed those, which is a measly 35kb.
Posts will be made here, but obviously containing a link to that site rather than the usual public torrents Nyaa link.
So yeah, grab what you can before torrents end up dead!
Announcement
Unfortunately due to financial reasons, I can no longer afford to rent the seedbox/server I use to upload and seed torrents here.
I have so far recieved 2 donations from kind souls which helped greatly to keep the seedbox going so far, but now I can no longer afford to cough up the £55 each month.
I’m not going to ask for donations, as I never like asking for money, but basically I’m going to have to shut up shop come end of the month.
More likley than not I will be returning to ADC with my uploads, so if the situation doesn’t change and you still want to follow my releases, check out the link for that site in my site links section.
I appreciate the support I’ve gotten from people since this sites existance, and we’ve nearly hit 100k visitors, which I think is a major achievement, so congrats and thanks for that everyone.
On a more positive note, at least expect the next batch for Gintama before the end of the month and maybe 1 or 2 more little treats as well.
